Who are you?
Not quite sure what or why you’re anxious, depressed, unable to stop thinking, or withdrawing?
Know you need help and finally feel like you’re ready to dig deep?
Struggling with the frictions of culture? Identity?
Whether you’re first generation immigrants or 3-4 generations removed, we hold multiple identities that sometimes create a dissonance within us that creates stress, anger, internalized and externalized oppressions.
Just had a baby or added to (or changed) your family and struggling with who that makes you?
Recovering from religious trauma or high-achiever childhood (-adulthood)?
Know you need to bring your mind and body together and not sure how?
We’re not just heads floating around in the world. No, you wouldn’t be the same person in a different body from yours. Let’s do the somatic work together to find your whole self.
In a multi/inter-racial relationship? Let’s talk about your shared liberation.
Reach out and let’s see if we’re a fit.
[Psychotherapist] literally translates to ‘soul healer.’
— Eduardo Duran, Healing the Soul Wound: Trauma-Informed Counseling for Indigenous Communities
The term psychotherapy is derived from Ancient Greek psyche (ψυχή meaning "breath; spirit; soul") and therapeia (θεραπεία "healing; medical treatment; [serve]")
I won’t lie to you, I don’t expect to heal anyone. I do expect to work with you to learn who it is you want to be, figure out what is in the way, and support you in learning what direction you’d like to take next. I see my work as service rather than healing. Some folks can build their journey to liberation without therapy, but certainly not everyone. I’m here to help as part of your healing journey.
